Looks like it is a good idea to see the most current information and solar panels are no different!

I happen to subscribe to HomePower magazine and the December 2009 edition was sent out to me already. You can see the edition for free for the next 2 months at http://www.homepower.com/current/

They happen to have the spec's on 230 solar panels. The original poster is still correct that the 2 solar companies still are the most efficient, except they are even more efficient!

Before making your decision on a solar panel, you should think of how you plan to use your solar panels. Do you want your spouse or neighbors happy by not letting them see your solar panels, then buy solar panels that look like roof tiles. You can buy solar panels that are see through, but just make half the electricity. How about double sided solar panels like Sanyo gives you for your patio? The efficiency is over 20%. Solar panels even have solars cells encased in glass, so part of the light comes through.
