Sorry, I don't have a link as I think most here are capable of googling. I am interested in local-minded economy - mostly beginning with local agriculture.
Sometimes those proponents of "DeGrowth" and "Green Technology" can sometimes bump heads because some believe that the green technology (and the green-washing) is only to hold off the eventual conversation for a degrowth economy. It is obvious that A growth based economy is unsustainable - my thought is to build "local" wealth by working within the community to build connections of resources, and initiate programs or processes to create more value in a community starting with food availability.
I have seen other programs where they set up a local currency and have different programs of that nature.
Thoughts? Good links to follow up on more information? I am really looking for something with discussion on the concept or different ways people are using the degrowth model for building strength in communities and local economy.
