It is much more cost effective to put the water into the ground than into the sewer. Rain barrels are another good cache for water storage. Waste water plants and excessive run off don't mix well. Testing the water is misleading with excessive run off pollution doesn't look so bad it's just diluted in the excessive water. Absorbing the water into the ground at the source is the best we can and should do this will reduce water pollution. As we advance away from oil based energy there will hopefully be less pollution on the roads.

UPDATE: The pavers have been reformulated with a new, more enviro-friendly binder. They are now called Xeripave
