Why doesn't "Stuff Happens" have it's own thread?

I heart Bill Nye. I've hearted him since I was seven years old. Why doesn't his show have it's own thread on these forums?

While your at it, can his show have just a touch of a better budget? i know it's cable, but really. He was on PBS, he doesn't need much.

My understanding is that Alan is waiting to see just which Planet Green shows are being brought back for another season.

Though I think if Planet Green is going to keep airing all the old episodes of these shows, they should really get a board too. I'm pretty sure new viewers will still have questions about these shows everytime they reair, it's just there is currently no place to ask.

I'd like to personally thank Planet Green for giving Bill a job. I grew up on a steady diet of "Science Guy." I think I only stopped watching after I finally got tired of the re-runs and that isn't an easy thing to do. To this day that theme song turns me into a grinning kid again.

But I still think "Eyes of Nye" is the best series he ever did. It operates on so many parts of yer mind, and manages to be both funny and thought-provoking without lessening either one, and that is not an easy thing to do. Whatever happened to that show?

How IS Bill these days? I hope he's happy. He deserves to be after making me (and millions of other kids) love science.

I only discovered "Stuff Happens" a few months back and now it seems it's not even being rerun lately.

If the Planet Green decision makers are watching...

Please bring "Stuff Happens" back for another season.

I think the show is incredibly entertaining and informative. Bill Nye's an absolute blast and the information he shared on a number of episodes really enlightened me to some significant environmental issues I wasn't even aware of.

I agree with the plea to keep Stuff Happens on Planet Green. It's honestly one of the shows that really pulled me into this network, and as much as I thought I knew already I always learn something really interesting from this show, and more importantly, so do my kids - the next generation.

I too wasn't really watching Planet Green until I caught part of the Breakfast show of Stuff Happens. It got me thinking about all the coffee clubs at work and all those styrofoam cups.... When is the show coming back with a new season?

Count me in on that vote, too... definately one of the best shows they've ever had.

PG e-mailed me telling me that there are no plans for a future season or episodes right now... and considering they also told me that Greensburg wont be back til May of 2010;
I could assume it means Stuff Happens won't appear anytime before that... if it ever does...
